Distribution of the Variation in the Land-Ocean Anomaly

The probability distribution for the variation of the land-ocean anomaly is more uniform and much closer to a normal distribution.

This distribution can be used to decide whether the observed temperatures for the land-ocean anomaly are within expectations for the fit or if the prediction has to be rejected. The 3σ bound would be 0.390 degrees which is close to 1/2 the width of the variation.
