Variation in the Anomaly by Month

One can define ΔAnomaly = Anomaly - 5-year Average for those months in which the 5-year Average of the Land Northern Hemisphere Anomaly is known. We can then sort the data by month and year to get a matrix which shows the variation over time. Here are some different views of this matrix.

The variation changes throughout the year and is least for the month of June and greatest from Dec through Mar. This shows that the weather is most unpredictable during the winter months.
